The Liverpool Biennial is a huge collection of art exhibitions across the city.
This is Jonathan's home city so he will be travelling there for 2 days and you can come for 1 or 2 days for a tour round a diverse collection of art.
It is only 2 hours on the train:
London Euston Station to Liverpool Lime Street Station
Suggested train: Thursday 18 October 11.07 from London Euston:
Cheapest way to book a train is here: https://www.virgintrains.co.uk
You can get a train back to London the same day, the best is the 19.47 (this will give time to go to the Anthony Gormley installation on the beach)
Or stay overnight (some hostels and hotels listed below). There is far more art than can be seen even in 2 days!
All of the galleries will be walking distance in the city centre (if we go to the beach on the Thursday evening it is a short underground train journey).
